In 2018, Marcus and Holly met at Fountainview Academy. During the first few weeks of their junior year, a school-wide campout signaled the beginning of their life-long journey together. After an evening on the lakeside, both Marcus and Holly realized they were head over heels in love with each other.

Throughout their last year of high school and first year of college, Marcus and Holly continued to build their relationship. On August 6, 2021, Marcus asked Holly to be his girlfriend on an ocean lookout near Oceanside, Oregon. This marked the official beginning of their dating career.

As they continued their college education, with Holly pursuing elementary education and Marcus a nursing career, times to hang out as a couple became few and far between. However, they were quite motivated to still find time to spend together to continue growing their relationship.

During the summer between their Junior and Senior year of college, Marcus and Holly drove to an overlook of the Willamette valley in Silver Falls, Oregon. On June 21, 2023, Holly said yes to Marcus when he got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage!

Marcus and Holly are now finishing up their last year in college as they prepare for their graduation, wedding, and married life. They are both excited for their wedding and to see you all there!
