Even though we lived just four miles apart our whole lives in Eaton, we did not officially meet until his senior year and my sophomore year through our amazing friends Mackenna and Jesiah. At this time I was turning sixteen and was really struggling with not being able to get my license. To cope with this I started asking friends to start their cars and let me hold their keys. Marek took that to a whole other level when he let me drive his Dodge Challenger on the street next to our church. It was then I realized that he saw past my vision and made me feel like I could do anything.

And "do everything" she did! After a few successful runs to Chick-Fil-A, a couple visits to the lake, and a nerve racking talk with her father, I began dating Teagan in January of 2023. While at first I was away at College, awkward phone calls began to turn into a deeper relationship. Once summer hit, I was blessed to watch her music dreams come true with her first music album, and then become FFA State President all while dealing with my ideas of cheesy romantic dates. She even stuck with me through basic training when I decided to enlist into the Army. Even though we have typically been thousands of miles away from each other, we truly believe that what the Lord has put together, no one will tear apart.
