Red Hog Restaurant & Butcher Shop
A local lunch and dinner spot that Cooper and Maren frequent. They have a seasonal rotating menu featuring locally sourced ingredients.
North of Bourbon
Extensive bourbon collection with classic southern fair. Cooper and Maren love their potato wedges and caesar salad.
Taco Luchador
A casual local spot (there are multiple locations) that can be exchanged for chipotle.
Bourbons Bistro
Classic American fair with extensive bourbon selection. Cooper and Maren will forego dessert everywhere but here- their bread pudding is to die for!
Toasty's Tavern
Best greasy burgers in town, its a cozy space- avoid taking big groups here...
Wild Eggs
A great sit down breakfast spot (multiple locations). Exchange this for Waffle House if you are feeling fancy!
Cherokee Park
The site of Cooper and Maren's proposal! This is a great park to walk or bike, and is centrally located.
Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
For our fans of baseball-take a tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum!
Waterfront Botanical Gardens
Beautiful botanical gardens near downtown and the Ohio river.
Churchill Downs
Historic horse racing track that is home to the Kentucky Derby, their museum gives tours of the track. Worth a stop even if they are not running any races!
Urban Bourbon Trail
Located in downtown Louisville, these distilleries will show you how they make the bourbon. Angel's Envy, Evan Williams, Copper & Kings, Rabbit Hole, Old Forester, Michter's, Peerless and more...
Chestnut Hall
A retired OTTB farm that lets you get up close and personal with their horses. All proceeds go toward giving OTTB's a second career (or an easy retirement!).
