What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive no later than 4:45pm! This will allow adequate time to park and walk to the chapel before the 5:00pm start time.
If you are unable to arrive before 5pm, our coordinator will kindly ask you to remain outside the chapel temporarily. After the bride and groom are at the alter, she will help you find a seat for the ceremony.
Will there be transportation FROM the reception?
Yes, there will be a shuttle FROM the venue that will travel to Homewood Suites at 9PM and 10PM. The last shuttle will leave at 11PM and travel to Lanier Islands (ETA 11:30PM) and then Homewood Suites (ETA midnight).
Please note that there will NOT be transportation TO the venue. Carpooling or using Uber/Lyft from your hotel to the venue may be beneficial.
What should I wear?
Please wear something that falls in the following dress code categories: dressy-casual, cocktail, or semi-formal attire. Please pick whichever of these you feel most comfortable and confident in!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
All invited guests associated with a party will be displayed when you RSVP on the knot. If you have questions, please reach out to us!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We are asking that all guests (except those with children in the ceremony) please find child care during this time, as this will be a 21 and up event.
Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Yes! The ceremony is in the chapel, which is right next to the reception ballroom.
Is the venue indoor or outdoor?
Indoor. However, you may need an umbrella to move from the ceremony chapel to the reception building next door if it rains.
Weather expectations?
It is Georgia, so we never really know how hot/cold it will get. However, in previous years April temperatures ranged from a low of 49°F - 56°F and a high of 69°F - 76°F. Expect pollen and remember it is allergy season!
Is there free parking at the venue?
Yes!
What type of food will be served?
Appetizer of shrimp & grits shooters. Main course of chicken, steak, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes. Side salad and dinner rolls. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you need vegetarian or vegan options.
Will there be an open bar?
Of course! There will be 2 bar stations located on either side of the reception space. Guests may choose from a selection of wine, beer, liquor, soda, coffee, and water from 5:30pm- 10:30pm. We ask that guests please drink responsibly! Outside alcohol is NOT permitted per the venue.

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?
Yes! There will be a one hour gap for cocktail hour. Guests can move between the indoor and outdoor spaces to mingle, play yard games, sign our guest book, take pictures on their own, etc. The bar will open once the ceremoy concludes.
