Adam and Margaret first met in college theatre at Bismarck State College during a 24 hour play festival! Adam wrote the show overnight and Margaret performed in the show. Months later, they became instant friends while in the production, "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead." Even more months later, that friendship blossomed into something more. On June 5th, 2017, they began to date.

During their years together, Adam and Margaret went through many milestones! They went through college, graduations, getting careers, and bought a house. After 6.5 years together, they got engaged on the BSC stage where they first met and became friends. In theatrical style, Adam proposed on stage during a show! It was very moving and of course, that was the best standing ovation they ever received.
