Michael and Margaret first met in a not so typical way, through TikTok back in 2020. Micheal was scrolling through his TikTok one day and a video of Margaret popped up on his page. From that moment, Michael was determined to get to know her. After a month or two of commenting on her posts, sending her TikTok messages, and joining her TikTok lives, she finally responded. Maggie had been skeptical about people in messages because they were all strangers, but Michael caught her eye. Sooner after, these two were on the phone, FaceTiming, or texting each other almost 24 hours a day.

After a couple months, they finally decided to meet in person. They both drove halfway between Charleston SC (Margaret’s home) and Kissimmee FL (Michael’s home) and met in Jekyll Island, GA. This is the place where he asked her to be his girlfriend on September 26th 2020.

A couple months go by of doing long distance and the two of them took turns visiting one another. Eventually, the two of them decided they were done doing long distance and they wanted to be closer to one another. Margaret ended up packing up her things and saying goodbye ( more like a see you later) to her life in Charleston and moved down to Florida with Michael in February of 2021.

Since then, Michael and Margaret have both found their career paths, started a family of fur babies, moved into a house out in Cocoa FL, and most importantly, fallen deeper and deeper in love.

On December 17th 2022, on the rooftop of the Four Seasons hotel, Michael decided it was time to make those next steps and ask Margaret to marry him. It was the the perfect moment with the Epcot firework show happening at the same time. Needless to say, she said Yes!
