Our wedding will be held at Taconic Ridge Farm in Hillsdale, NY, located 18 miles east of Hudson, NY, and 12 miles west of Great Barrington, MA. Each of these towns and the small hamlets in between have very small boutique hotels, retro motels, and Airbnb options. To guide your planning, we have pulled together a list of hotel options. This list is not exhaustive but is intended to get our guests started on finding the accommodations that best suit their needs.
The Hudson River Valley is a popular summer destination, so we strongly recommend that our guests make reservations as soon as possible.
By Air - Albany International Airport is 50 miles from the region. Guests traveling by air are encouraged to fly to Albany and rent a car for the drive to the Hudson Valley.
By Rail - Amtrak services the area with a stop in Hudson, NY. The station is within walking distance of the main shopping, restaurant and hotel area of Hudson. The ride from New York City to Hudson is 2 hours and the trains sell out weeks in advance. The Metro-North Harlem line runs to Wassaic, which is a 40 minute car ride from Hillsdale.
By Car - The region is approximately 2.5 hours from New York City, 3.5 hours from Philadelphia, and 3 hours from Boston. Due to the decentralized nature of the available accommodations, there will not be shuttle services to and from the wedding. Rideshare services (Uber and Lyft) should be reserved in advance.
*Unfortunately, Ubers and Lifts are not very easy to come by in the Catskills. We highly recommend making sure someone in your party has a car, or arranging a car service from the options below (we suggest making any car service reservations as soon as possible as they book up quickly) *

We highly suggest larger groups wishing to stay together take this route, as you will easily find a larger format home for everyone to gather and spend time together during downtime from wedding festivities. As the Hudson Valley is a very popular summer destination, we recommend making these reservations well ahead of time as properties tend to book up quickly for the summer.

The Maker Hotel
The Maker Hotel, a new hotel from the co-founders of global beauty brand Fresh, Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg, and hospitality expert Damien Janowicz, is located in the heart of historic downtown Hudson, New York. The Maker is 27 mins from our venue, and available to book rooms starting October 2022.
Vanderbilt Lakeside
The Vanderbilt Lakeside is an 18 min drive from our venue. Originally built in the 1860s by Cornelius Vanderbilt as a railroad hotel, this Victorian-Era house has been reimagined with a blend of vintage & organic design elements. The historic 6000 square foot house sits prominently along Main Street in the Hudson Valley Village of Philmont. Tucked behind the house & hidden from passersby is an expansive, private backyard with mature maples, evergreens, wildflowers and over 500 feet of lake frontage. Eight en suite bedrooms are located above the ground floor common areas, which include The Parlor, The Bar Room, The Game Room, Kitchen, and access to the backyard and lake. Enjoy the lakeside fire pit & use of our canoe during your stay!

Little Cat Lodge
The Little Cat Lodge is a brand new hotel that just opened Summer 2022. This cozy lodge is just a 4 min drive from our venue, and 12 rooms are being held for guests to book until our wedding weekend. Rivertown Lodge
The Rivertown Lodge is an independently owned, 27-room hotel located in the center of town on Hudson’s Warren Street. The Lodge is a 24 min drive from our venue, and one mile down the road from the Hudson Amtrak station.
