Can I bring my tiny offspring?
Small children are welcome! If you are bringing kids to the reception, we ask that you let us know on the RSVP form their age(s) and whether or not they will need a meal provided at the reception. You don't need to tell us far in advance if you plan to bring an infant who has another source of food. The reception venue has a room with a TV that should be quieter than the rest of the venue. Please let us know if there's anything we can set up that would make it easier to have your kids with you at this celebration.
What do you mean by casual cocktail?
We mean you can wear cocktail attire, but if you'd like to dress a bit more casually (e.g. nice jeans and a crisp plaid shirt; teal pants and a striped sweater; ...), then please do. We'd like you to be comfortable and to look somewhat nice.
Where can I park at the Church?
The Immaculata is located on the University of San Diego's campus with parking adjacent to the church on the west and north sides. Additional parking lots are a minute walk away across the plaza from the main entrance. All parking is open to the public and free on weekends. Suggested lots are outlined in orange above.
Where can I park for the reception?
Venue 808 is directly north of Petco Park, the Padres' baseball stadium. We recommend using taxi or rideshare services.
For those who would like to drive, there are several paid parking garages open to the public in the nearby area. Paid street parking may be available near the venue and is typically free after 6 pm.
Are there any public transit options?
Yes! There are free shuttles available between the San Diego International Airport, Old Town Transit Center, and the University of San Diego campus. The San Diego Trolley provides inexpensive service to three stops near our reception venue. Please see our travel tab for details and links to more information.
