Margo & Matt met in the summer of 2017 while entering their senior year at The University of Mississippi. The two first 'locked eyes' while working out at Snap Fitness and after a few days of flirting from afar, Matt approached Margo!

"We both claim to remember the act differently, but what we can both agree on is that Matt noticed me, and made the first move! I was so excited, I left the gym after and texted my friends, and I quote.. "Super hot PIKE in a cut off at Snap Fitness. Who is he?" As fate may have it, that weekend, Matt was my bartender at The Library downtown on The Square. With a little bit of liquid courage, I asked a friend to ask Matt to my date party for me. Matt answered something goofy back, but ultimately said yes!" - As told by Margo

From then on, we were always on each other's minds. We went on to enjoy our senior year full of football games (Hotty Toddy, GO REBS!), countless nights at The Library, Kappa Kappa Gamma date parties & formals, and one too many runs to Taco Bell.

Matt stayed in Oxford, MS for another year or so after Margo graduated in 2018, and from there Margo moved to Charleston, South Carolina

Fast forward to March of 2020, Matt made the move to Charleston to be with Margo and their dog Parma!

In May of 2023, Margo surprised Matt with a birthday trip down to one of their favorite spots in South Carolina, Kiawah & Seabrook Islands. Little did Margo know, Matt was pulling one over on her and planned an engagement to remember. Matt popped the question at The Sanctuary in Kiawah, and Margo was caught so off guard, she was screaming and couldn't contain her excitement and said YES!

We are so excited and incredibly lucky to have our friends & family join us for our wedding at one of the most stunning spots in Charleston! Charleston is such a special place to us both! Matt has been vacationing to the area his whole life for family vacation, a place Margo fell in love with the first time she visited with Matt's family in the summer of 2018, and now a place we call home!
