Yes, the dress code for the wedding is formal. Ladies will need to wear a floor-length gown, and gentlemen will need to wear a suit.

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate guests that are not included on the invitation. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Our ceremony will start promptly at 6:30 pm. We suggest arriving at the venue 10-15 minutes early to find seating!

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend our celebration, unless the children are included on the invitation.

Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry located under the registry tab!

Southern Oaks will host our ceremony and reception. It is located at 7816 Hayne Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70126. Once you arrive at the venue, you will follow the driveway past the mansion to the illuminated parking lot. The lot can accommodate about 100 vehicles, and the venue will provide a tram that picks up our guests and will transport them to the front door of the estate. Overflow parking is available on the streets in front of and behind the grounds.

We will have an open bar for the reception! As for food, Southern Oaks will serve over 80 different menu items to allow everyone, regardless of dietary restrictions, the opportunity to have a true taste of New Orleans!
