Jordan and I met on an app called Tinder when we lived in La Crosse, WI. We found out our apartment buildings were next to one another and that our families lived an hour apart. It was a VERY coincidental situation.
We tell everyone that we met in the parking lot of our apartment buildings and Jordan saw me scraping my car window off with a credit card because I didn't have an ice scraper (which was true, I didn't have one) so he scraped off my car for me so I wouldn't be late for work and we exchanged numbers and instantly clicked.
January 17th, 2018 We officially started dating and since then have adopted 2 cats and a dog. Moved to MN and back to WI, had 3 kids, bought a home in Merrill, WI, and traveled across the country 4 times (twice with children).
We're super excited to see what the future has in store for us (we plan on more trips and hopefully explore outside of the country)!
The first time Jordan ever said "I love you" to me was not even a week after knowing each other. It was at his family's New Year's Eve Christmas party, and at midnight we kissed and he said: "I love you". All I did was say "Okay" and walked away because I didn't feel that for him at the moment
Our first date was at the Rotary Lights back in December of 2017. It was a family tradition of mine that we went every Christmas to indulge in the beauty of the lights, and since my family moved back to Wausau that tradition didn't stick. When Jordan asked me to go it made me excited to go as it holds a big piece of my childhood.
