We met about 16 years ago! Mari decided to give Cory a run for his money and had him wait it out for years to come. During the beginning of the pandemic, Mari's father got very ill (thankfully, he is resilient and it made it out even stronger). Cory became that person for her to lean on and she started to see him in a whole different light. Slowly (but surely) love began to blossom! Two years, and one dog later (love you, Buddy!), Cory proposed to Mari in front of the refrigerator at home (because, Covid...). Marrying the love of your life is amazing, but marrying the love of your life who has also been your best friend for over a decade is surreal in the best possible way. We can not wait for all family and friends to gather together for a great night of celebrating, love and laughter!
