One random day in 2014 Mari was working hard per usual, when suddenly a tall, dark, smiley man with a beard and dress pants walked in. Andrew was no ordinary human in this environment, he was happy and a breath of fresh air! Andrew immediately noticed Mari and happily introduced himself... Once he walked away, the first thing Mari did was :O - she instantly got up to go talk about him to her bestie (Lisa), who agreed that he had a nice "rump in his trunk".

Anyways, fast forward to 2017 -

Andrew had a job position that required him to basically entertain new employees/sales people. This (in his mind) was the perfect opportunity to get Mari's phone number by casually asking if she knew anyone in the nightclub industry for a "hook up" on a table. (IYKYK) Just so happened that Mari indeed did know a few people but also didn't quite "have it like that" but she gave him her number anways. They wouldn't text very much until around (rough estimate) October-ish 2017. Andrew had texted Mari with an idea of him doing some dia de los muertos pictures on his bike and wanted Mari to possibly do his makeup for this (I'm sure after stalking her IG and noticing this was her vibe and knowing she loved makeup). Mari sent Andrew a couple of pics from her own photoshoot where she did the whole calavera face and his response was "MARRY ME *heart eyes*"

(let me just tell you that this entire time Mari was dating someone and thought Andrew was still in his relationship so didn't think much of this conversation, completely oblivious to the fact that he was flirting)

Fast forward again, Andrew was doing his morning rounds at the office and Mari casually told him he looked really nice that day (he was wearing a pink dress shirt & bow tie) and he said "thanks! I have to now that I'm on the market again." *Mari shocked & everything clicks*

Mari finally decides to text Andrew to ask him out, unfortunately he left her on read for about 10 minutes until Mari sent the follow up text "I'm not with _____ anymore fyi." Andrew replied after this text accepting the date.

We went on our first date at a local bar, ate pizza (with ranch), laughed, talked, played video games & even created some inside jokes. Now, the rest is history
