December 22nd 2019 was a night that was just meant to be. Maria was out with her girlfriends, and Matt was deep into a Sunday Funday watching the Eagles. Matt had Maria laughing all night, and that was enough for her to lean in. So as the story goes, we met at a bar.

Fast forward to July 5th, 2025. The day felt like the first sunny day of the summer at Lake Winola. Matt perfectly planned the day and got down on one knee to ask Maria to marry him. it was unexpected by Maria since she had just jumped in the lake and was still in her bathing suit.

We’ve already built a life together, whether we’re starting a new show, cooking dinner together, hanging with friends and family, or enjoying our favorite activities like long walks, golfing, skiing, and going on trips.

We can’t wait to continue this as husband and wife and to celebrate it all with you!
