Michael and Maria met October 27th, 2018 at a Halloween party hosted by some friends of Michael’s. Maria was brought to the party by a mutual friend. They talked for a couple days but lost touch for a little over a month. Maria then made the first move and asked Michael out for a drink in Green Bay. Michael was working out of town, but that didn’t stop Maria from driving to him for their first date. December 10th, 2018, they officially started dating and the rest is history. Their relationship progressed quickly, but they knew from their very first date, that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. Having a significant other that travels for work, and not being able to spend a lot of time together, makes the time spent together that much sweeter. February 23rd, 2019 Michael got down on one knee, in the middle of all the traffic on the Las Vegas Strip, and asked Maria to spend the rest of her life with him. Although, the trip was short lived, it was one they will never forgot.

On Saturday April 24th, 2020, Michael and Maria said “I do” on one of the docks at Bukholt Park in Stevens Point, WI. They were joined by their children, their parents, and some close friends. Some of you may have caught it on Facebook Live! Michael and Maria can’t thank their close friend, and Michael’s groomsman, Ryan Jaggar, enough for marrying them that day. It was very special and meant a lot to them.

January 21st, 2020 Michael and Maria found out their family was going to be growing by ten toes and ten fingers. Although the pregnancy was quite the surprise, it was perfect in every way. On Saturday May 23rd, 2020 their baby’s gender was announced with a BANG and they were excited to announce they were having a GIRL! On September 18th, 2020, IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC, Michael and Maria welcomed a beautiful and healthy, baby girl; Viviana Jane Marie. She was born at 5:39pm, naturally, weighing in at 6lbs. 4oz., and 20inches long.
