After meeting on a Christian Dating App and talking for two weeks, Maria and Daniel had their first date on September 7, 2024. They went to Sagamore Hill and spent the day exploring Oyster Bay together!

Since their first date, Daniel and Maria have spent almost every single weekend together, despite the distance between them. From going to the Renaissance Fair to attending Weddings together to going to Broadway to just relaxing on the couch together and eating sushi, the last year has been a truly magical experience for the both of them. Daniel and Maria are both very grateful to God for bringing them together, establishing their relationship, and blessing them with one another. Their prayer is to always glorify Him in their relationship with one another.

On June 25, 2025, Daniel asked Maria to marry him, and she said "yes!" It was the easiest decision of her life!

Daniel and Maria hope to marry on December 20, 2025, Lord willing. The Ceremony will be held at 12pm at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Merrick and will be followed by a reception at the Stewart Manor Country Club in Garden City from 3 to 8pm.
