Our Wedding

Maria and Justin met unexpectedly one evening in May 2024. Maria was walking downtown to pick up a takeout order from Remedy Burger while chatting on the phone with her mom. After grabbing her food and taking just a few steps down the street, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Justin said, “I accidentally gave you the wrong order—can you come back?” Still on the phone, Maria laughed and told her mom, “I think I just met my future husband.” For weeks Maria told her friends and family about how she met "her husband", but did not think she would see him or get the chance to talk to him again after their brief encounter.About a month later, Maria and her friend Amanda were deciding where to eat. When they saw Justin was working at Remedy, Amanda suggested they go there—even though Maria was incredibly nervous to see him again (and still didn’t know his name!). When they arrived, one of Justin’s coworkers teased him, saying, “Those two girls keep staring at you.” Justin wrote his phone number on a tray liner and slid it over to Maria.That night, Maria texted him, and two days later they went on their first date.Long story short: sometimes making a mistake at work can help you find your wife! ❤️

Our Story

Taylre is my older sister. She’s been by my side since day one (literally), through every phase of life as a supporter and role model. When I was younger, I always bragged about having such a cool older sister (don't even get me started on how cool I felt on the rare occasion we passed each other in the school hallway and she would stop and give me a hug). She is an ultrasound technician who loves to read, shop, watch true crime documentaries, listen to music, and plan parties or events. She's a big foodie and loves a fun cocktail. -Maria

Taylre Giannettino

Faith is my younger sister. Although she is younger, she has always been someone who I can go to for support and is wise beyond her years. From endless bike rides and summer days spent playing mermaids in the pool, to my wedding day and beyond, there’s never been a moment in life when I haven’t needed my little sister by my side. She will graduate with her Masters in Social Work from Radford University in May 2026. She enjoys playing video games, spending time with our dogs Toby & Moxie, and watching her favorite shows like Bob's Burger or Family Guy.

Faith Deacy

Macenzie has been my truest and most loyal friend for over 20 years. She has been consistent in her love and support for me, no matter the distance. Even after moving hundreds of miles away in 7th grade, our friendship stands strong. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Dance, an Associates Degree in Biology, and is now studying Clinical Laboratory Science. After graduating in May, she plans to work in a clinical microbiology lab. When she is not studying, she enjoys hanging out with her 2 cats, watching medical or crime shows, or planning her next trip to Disney.

Macenzie Reese

Amanda has been one of my best friends since 2018 when we both joined the same sorority. She has been someone I have gone to any time I wanted to vent or needed support. There is never a dull moment when she is around. She loves to travel and is always planning her next adventure! Her favorite places that she has been so far are Italy and Greece. She earned her Masters degree from Radford University in 2025. When she's not traveling she enjoys walks, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants.

Carley and I met freshman year of high school. With her being new to the school, and me being the new girl just the year before, we bonded instantly. We connected over our love for makeup, clothes, and all things girly. We have both dreamed of this day for over 10 years. Carley is a pediatric ultrasound technician at UVA. She loves watching Commanders games with her husband, going to local wineries, and spending time with her golden retriever and 3 cats!

Kyle is my best friend. He was my college roommate for two years and my teammate for four years. He will always be the closest thing I have to a brother and that's why he is my best man. The go-to guy for laughs, advice, and dose of stupidity. Kyle is a physical therapy graduate student and dog dad to Rocky. He enjoys building legos and playing video games. Whether he is studying anatomy or building masterpieces out of little bricks, he is always down for good time!

Kyle Creamer

I met Josh over 2 years ago lifting at a local spot and asked if I could join competitive strongman, to which he took me under his wing and showed me the ropes. He was the motivation in a dark part of my life and that's why I need him by my side for my wedding day. He is a focal point of all things silly & loud. Husband to Stephanie & father to Scarlett. His hobbies include lifting heavy objects, listening to hardstyle music, and mixing liquid things that make your tummy go "mmmm" (He is an amazing bartender).- Justin

Joshua Dickerson

I met Ian when I went out drinking one night with Kyle and became best friends and drinking buddies immediately. Later I found out we'd be teammates that following semester at MBU. The devil on my shoulder and the most loyal friend a man can ask for. Ian is from Texas. He played soccer his whole life. He now lives and works in Jacksonville at a tech start up company and plays semi-professional soccer. - Justin

Ian Triplett

My freshman year of college Jared Curling was my Team captain. Little did I know he'd become one of my closest friends through dumb antics and a number of lake trips. I wouldn't be the soccer player or leader in any aspect of life without having him as one to look up to. Jared is a life long Star Wars fan. He will belt a country song without shame, throw down a solid Dougie, and always brings good energy to the crew. He lives in Jacksonville, is a dog dad to Callie and is youth soccer coach . - Justin

Josh is my longest standing friend. Through high school, college, and now after. I wouldn't have survived high school without him and wouldn't have a long running advice wheel without him either. A tequila titan and wine warrior on the right night, Josh love prequels, sweet treats, and moving his feet. When the music starts, he can't help but move. He brings a dash of chaos and a whole lot of charm to the mix. Favorite Quote: "Life's a party, so long as you've got the right shoes"-Justin

Dani is my one and only niece. When I found out Taylre was pregnant with Dani I was overjoyed and could not wait to welcome her into the world. Dani is in Kindergarten, but will be in 1st grade at the time of the wedding. Her hobbies include doing gymnastics, singing, dancing, playing with baby dolls, and coloring or painting! Her favorite food is spaghetti. She loves using her imagination and making others laugh. Dani has completed a triathlon and the age of 4!
