CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
We love all of our friends and family's children! However, due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate additional guests. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is cocktail attire (semi formal). We recommend suite and tie & cocktail dresses. No jeans, white/cream dresses or sneakers, please!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?
The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm CDT. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes before! There is parking available at the school across the street.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE RECEPTION?
The reception will start promptly at 5pm CDT for cocktail hour. We recommend using Uber or Lyft for the reception as there is limited paid street parking available. We also want our guests to get home safely!
WHAT SHOULD I DO BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
Please review the things to do page available on our website. Luckily, Chicago is great city to explore during our "catholic gap". The wedding party and family will use this time to take photos throughout the city.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES THROUGHOUT THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
In order to ensure we are all fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment and we would be happy to send you any pictures upon request! During the cocktail hour and reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!
WHAT'S THE BAR SITUATION?
We will provide a full open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails and a selection of red & white wines.
