Outdoor Adventures
Fall on the coast of Maine is beautiful! Even if it's warm, the water may be too cold for all but the strongest of heart (or those with McManus blood). That said, it will be just right before peak foliage, so the visuals will be great.
Ocean Avenue - Kennebunkport
Great drive, or walk or run. At times, the sidewalk can get thin, but overall a heavily trafficked area. Beautiful views! Starts from downtown.
Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge
A series of beautiful hikes through the low land marsh of Southern Maine. Close to town. You may even catch a peak of where the wedding will be on Saturday evening if you look left!
Goose Rocks Beach
Not as good as Fortunes - just ask a McManus - nonetheless a great beach with some parking and a few food options
Fortunes Rocks Beach
A McManus family favorite - a two mile sandy beach with some of the best waves in Maine. Parking can be limited.
Timber Point Trail
A great Fall hike through the woods, ends across from a small island with beautiful views.

Outside of Kennebunkport, there are a few other great cities and towns to visit just a short drive away.
Portland, Maine
A world-class city 35 minutes north from Kennebunkport. Great restaurants and bars downtown near the harbor.
Ogunquit, Maine
A beautiful little coastal town, 30 min south of Kennebunkport. Nice restaurants and shopping

Long-standing fried seafood-stand in the middle of town. Take your food around back and eat, standing on the back deck over the river.

Favorite coffee shop in town, tucked away.

Great macarons, decent espresso. Near the edge of town, up the hill.

A father of the groom favorite! He says, "much better food than the Ramp".
Palace Diner
In downtown Biddeford, a well-known, classic old school diner. About 25 min north of Kennebunkport, in a old working class mill town undergoing some recent development.
