Our Wedding

Anthony and Maria met in the summer of June 2014. Maria's Brother Nick and Anthony went to the Police Academy together and became good friends. Nick thought that Maria and Anthony would be the perfect Match for each other and set both of them up on a date at the resturant Called Chilli's located on Military Road in Niagara falls. Maria loved all of her brother's friends but never imagined herself dating one of them. Our first date at the Resturant Called Chilli's, Anthony kept talking about Maria's brother the whole time and retelling stories about the police academy. Maria remember's coming home and telling her mom was how awful the first date was because all Anthony could&nbsp;talk&nbsp;about was her brother and the academy. But Maria's mom convinced her to give Anthony another chance&nbsp;in hoping things would get better.&nbsp;Despite the fact that Maria's love was shattered and Maria's heart was broken from Maria's previous marriage, Maria never thought she could fall in love again. During these past 8 years, Anthony helped Maria overcome her insecurities, trust issues and so much more. Anthony taught Maria what it felt like to be loved again and how to love herself. Maria is very blessed to have Anthony in her life.&nbsp;In October 2020 Maria bought her very first house in North Tonawanda&nbsp;and Anthony finally moved in October 2023. Anthony and Maria were finally happy to call their house there home.&nbsp;From that time on Anthony and Maria made so many more memories including Anthony and Maria's cat Bella warming up to each other. On Christmas Eve 2024,&nbsp;Anthony and Maria finally got home after a long day of spending time with their families. Maria started to gather up Christmas presents from under the tree to celebrate their Christmas together as a couple. As Anthony and Maria would every year.&nbsp;With the Song "This Gift" by 98 Degrees playing in the background Maria heard Anthony say “I hope all those gifts aren’t for me.” Maria then said “So what if they are?” and as Maria turned around Anthony was down on one knee asking Maria to marry him. As you all know,&nbsp;Maria said YES!!! It was a very tearful moment&nbsp;and it became the happiest day of our life. Throughout the 8 years Anthony and Maria have been together they taught each other so much from overcoming insecurities, fears and always sticking together to go that extra mile to take on that next challenge in life. They both have been through ups and downs, but at the end of the day they always have each other to lean on. Anthony and Maria cannot wait til they can finally call each other husband and wife and enjoy this next chapter in their lives with all of you.
