Maria and Andrew met during college at FSU. They would often see each other while going out with friends, through campus, or at the library. After graduation the two reconnected while both visiting Tallahassee for the FSU vs Miami game. They hit it off and Andrew asked Maria if he could come visit her soon in Jacksonville where she was living post graduation. Andrew was living back in his hometown of Boca Raton. After 3 years of dating long distance Maria moved to Delray Beach in 2021 so they could live together. In 2023 they purchased their first home where they live with their golden retriever, Maple.
