How to get to Winthrop

Winthrop is part of the Methow Valley on Highway 20 (North Cascade Highway) in the north-central part of Washington State. No matter which way you enter Winthrop, the scenery is outstanding. The North Cascades Highway 20 is a national scenic byway (Cascade Loop) passing through the North Cascades National Park. This route is an efficient way to arrive and depart Winthrop when coming from the West and heading back to the West.
