Our Wedding

It is a tale as old as time; a boy and a girl both swipe right, matching on one of the many dating apps. They start talking, realize they have a lot in common and decide to meet in person. Their first date was breakfast at one of the local restaurants in Twin Bridges, on a beautiful Sunday morning right after Thanksgiving. Maria, graceful as she is known to be, managed to knock over her coffee fairly early on during the date. Matt swears that is when he knew she was the one. Maria knew he was different when both decided that their dogs needed to accompany them. Two more dates was all it took for Matt and Maria to decide that that was it and they officially became a couple! The couple started off 2022 ice fishing with some friends in very negative weather. The ladies caught the most fish, not that it was a competition ;) In March they went to Arizona, officially surviving their first major trip as a couple. Well... almost. There was the "spare tire breakup of 2022," and Matt is pretty adminant that they are still not back together. However, he did put a ring on her finger, so Maria begs to differ! But that is a story for another time. In August, Maria found out she had to have a major surgery. Matt refused to be excluded from any doctor visits, and was by her side when the surgery took place in November. In October, Maria and Matt made the big decision to move in together. Then, on November 6, Matt got down on one knee. Now we get to celebrate a wedding!
