This love story begins in the summer of 2017, when common friendships introduced Maria and Francis in Campion Residence Hall at John Carroll University. Their first three nights together were spent in captivating conversation that lasted until the birds began singing at 4 o'clock the next morning. Although they may not have studied as much as they needed to during finals week, Maria and Francis discovered in each other an affinity that grew to be stronger than stone.

As their relationship blossomed, they quickly found their love to be far too vast to keep to themselves. In order to share this affection, Maria and Francis invited two cats and two dogs into their hearts. Although the fur in their apartment is boundless, the love and energy for one another is palpable.

On December 30th, 2018, Francis and Maria took the next step in their relationship when Francis proposed in a beautiful cabin just outside of Cleveland. Each milestone and obstacle since this day has been shared between them with such grace and strength. Their journey together will most definitely be one for the books. Maria and Francis thank everyone that has supported them through this journey and look forward to growing their love and family in the coming years as they move on to Boston after the wedding.
