At Communion, please be aware that the bread and wine consecrated on the altar is the Eucharistic body, blood, soul, and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that guests may be uncertain as to whether they should receive Holy Communion during Holy Mass. We kindly ask that only practicing Catholics, who are not conscious of grave sin and are in regular practice of the sacraments, partake in reception of the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Our non-Catholic brothers and sisters may proceed through the line to receive a blessing if they wish. To do so, please cross your arms across your chest, with fingertips touching your shoulders, when you reach the front of the line.
