We met right before our junior year of high school. We had tons of mutual friends and crossed paths a few times before we began talking. We went on our first date on August 22, 2010 and Spencer soon told me he considered me his girlfriend. I concurred (obviously) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Since that movie date in August, lots has happened. We went to 10 high school dances together, went to Virginia Tech, went through degree and career changes, applied to graduate school and jobs, graduated once again, and have attended many concerts in between. We've been together for 6+ years and cannot wait to take the next big step in our lives together.

As we journey into this new chapter, we are so excited to share our biggest day with all of you. We ask that you keep us in your prayers over these next few months. Please pray that our relationship continue to grow in strength and love, keeping God at the center and allowing Him to be glorified through it all.
