Our Wedding

The very first day I laid my eyes on Maria was in August of 2014, and from that moment forward the rest was history; well at least in my mind it was. Maria and I met at what once was Marker 4 Restaurant in Venice. Maria was a hostess and I was a busser, and my favorite days at work were always the ones that Maria was working on. I used to watch her walk people to their tables and always tried to think of ways to go and see and talk to her at the front of the restaurant. Then, one day after all our brief interactions, I came up with a great idea! I thought to myself "why don't I just bring Maria the menus that all of the servers put in their containers". It was a great idea and well a pretty solid and successful one at that, because from that day on the rest really was history and I wasn't the only one who thought it this time (well I was the only one that admitted it lol). After the continued menu interactions which seemed to be increasing quite a bit because she was "getting scheduled more" (even though I think she wanted to be), the day finally came where Maria asked if I wanted her number, yes you're reading that right she ASKED ME!! I of course came up with some sly way to put her number in my phone, and that was probably one of the happiest moments that I think we both shared together. A week or two went by and Maria and I spent our first time together outside of work. Maria came to the grand opening of UTC Mall with her friend where Ian and I were performing. The look on her face when she saw for the first time what I actually did and what I loved to do was priceless. She was in disbelief and couldn't believe that I was able to do something like that.

Our Story From the Words of Anthony

After I had finished up performing, her, her friend and I went to eat lunch at Ruby Tuesday's in Sarasota Square Mall. That same night she came to a haunted house that I was acting in with no idea where I was and which one I was. I enjoyed giving her a nice scare and closing out a day that we both will remember forever.

The following weekend on October 25th, 2014 we went on our first date! That was the day that I first met Joey and Elena, and Maria was SO nervous because Joey had bullets for his gun sitting on the kitchen counter and was afraid I would see them and be scared away. Well, I wasnt and her and I left together to start our night off with a delicious dinner at Pier 22 in Bradenton. After we finished dinner, we continued our evening with a sunset at Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. The wind was blowing and we were freezing, but we were just happy to be together enjoying our time. Once the sun had set we left the beach and got ice cream at The Fudge Factory. We finished our Ice Cream and started our Journey back to drop her off at home. The day was amazing and was also a day that we would never forget. A few more weeks went by and we would see each other at work a few days during the week. Finally, November 4th came around (her birthday) and that was the day that I asked her to be my girlfriend….. she said yes of course! Fast forward 10 years and it’s finally our time to become husband and wife. We are so excited and looking forward to spending our special day with each of you guys! Love Always- Anthony
