Barra de Navidad is a small picturesque town with a swimmer-friendly beach, an occasional fun surf break (fingers crossed), some shopping, delicious seafood, fresh fruit and smoothies, and a lovely cafe/bakery. It's pretty chill and low-key during the day, but we've heard it can get lively at night.

20.2 Miles - Approx. 40 minutes driving.

The venue/resort is located on a peninsula, which is super close to the town of Barra, however, the road that connects the two is a bit out of the way, (30-minute drive). There is a water taxi available to get from the resort into town, which is much more convenient and takes ~ 5 min. See map below.

You can rent a car at the airport if you'd like, however, public transportation is relatively affordable. Depending on the length of your stay, you could likely get away by using taxis on an as-needed basis. If we find that multiple people are arriving/departing at the same time, we will consider hiring a van for the airport transfers.

We will have a better idea as we get closer and will update this page as we know more about our plans. But as of now, we would love to spend the day following the wedding hanging out on the beach, surfing, and enjoying the sun! Everyone is welcome.
