We recommend people fly into either DTW (Detroit) or GRR (Grand Rapids). They are both equidistant from Marshall! We have hotel blocks at the Quality Inn in Marshall as well as the Double Tree in Battle Creek. If you are looking to book at one of these locations, please call and let them know you are with our party to get the discounted rate. There are other hotels in the area that may also suit your needs including the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn, which are both close to our reception location as well.

Marshall is full of wonderful things to do between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour.

We had our first date at <a href="https://copperac.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Copper Athletic Club</a>, right downtown. It is a great place to grab a drink, or a small bite to eat. We are also members of the Marshall Historical Society and recommend a visit to <a href="https://www.marshallhistoricalsociety.com/museums/honolulu-house/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Honolulu House</a> or or <a href="https://www.marshallhistoricalsociety.com/museums/honolulu-house/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Marshall Historical Museum</a> (both open 1-4 on Saturday). Marshall has many historical houses and a quaint downtown. You can take a walk to enjoy the beautiful architecture or check out one of the many antique shops. If you are feeling like a sweet treat, <a href="https://truenorthicecream.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">True North</a> is a fantastic local ice cream place. It is all home-made, and they have fun and unique flavors. Our recommendations would be Cookie Butter, Blue Moon, or Oreo! <a href="https://darkhorsebrewery.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Dark Horse</a> is right next to True North and is one of the local breweries. They have a great Raspberry Ale!
