Chris and Maria's story began in 2013 when they met at Michigan State University through friends. Their friendship transformed into a relationship in the fall of 2014, marking the start of a beautiful journey together. During their first summer as a couple, they lived kitty corner from each other, making it easy to spend time together and eventually welcoming their fluffy and sassy feline companion, Luna, into their lives.

After graduating college, Chris accepted a position at General Motors, prompting a move closer to his office. At the same time, Maria was working in Detroit, leading them to settle in Ferndale in 2018. Ferndale quickly became home, and they have stayed there ever since. In 2024, they took an exciting new step by purchasing their first house and welcoming an energetic and cuddly puppy named Stella into their family.

On November 9th, 2024, Chris planned a heartfelt proposal. He disguised his plans by convincing Maria to attend one of her classic "Ladies" brunches. While she was away, Chris, with the help of friends and family, transformed their living room into a romantic setting filled with countless candles. When Maria returned home, she was met with this stunning surprise, and said yes.

Now Chris and Maria are thrilled to begin their next chapter, celebrating their love with friends and family in Detroit. They will tie the knot at the historic Masonic Temple on October 18th, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
