Q + A

What should I wear?

The attire for the wedding is semi-formal. Our main request is that all guests remember that the wedding is in a sacred space. We also kindly request no jeans, and that women avoid white dresses! Thank you.

What is the color theme for the wedding?

The bridesmaids will be wearing steel blue dresses. The groomsmen will be wearing charcoal gray. Andrew will be wearing navy blue, and I will obviously be wearing white! Our flowers will include many reds, pinks, and whites.

Can we take photos during the mass?

We've hired amazing photographers to capture our day and would be happy to share the photos after. Please refrain from any cellphone or camera use during the ceremony, out of respect for the celebration of Mass.

Who can receive the eucharist during mass?

Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Eucharist. Reception of the Eucharist is a profound moment of union with the Church and a sign of agreement with all the Church's positions. Out of respect, please only receive communion if you are a Catholic in good standing with the Church. If you are not Catholic or you are a Catholic that is in need of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, you may either stay kneeling in the pew or come forward for a blessing from the priest.

What time should I arrive at All Saints Church?

Please arrive at least ten minutes prior to 2:00 pm. The mass will begin promptly, and processions may begin before 2 pm.

How will I know how to follow the mass?

There will be a program to help all follow along during the mass. This will include song lyrics, the order of the mass, and information about the wedding party/family.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones- however, we have decided to keep our wedding reception primarily an adults-only event. Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate at the reception those who are listed on the RSVP.

Will there be an open bar? Do I need to bring cash?

There will be an open bar for cocktail hour with a selection of drinks available. There is a designated amount set aside for the bar, once these funds run out, please be prepared to pay for any drinks ordered.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by Sunday, August 25. This deadline is very important as many vendors need counts by early September. If we do not have an RSVP, we will be unable to feed or seat you at the reception.
