Maria and Tanner’s story began at Taylor County Tap House on May 4, 2022. Both attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Tanner swears he noticed Maria on campus more than once. Maria, however, had tunnel vision while on campus. (In her defense… she had no idea her future husband was running right past her.) That summer, Tanner and Maria made it official.

Fast forward to the summer of 2023 in France, where the couple took a trip to the city of love, Paris. Standing underneath the Eiffel Tower, their love for one another grew stronger than before. One year later, Tanner proposed to Maria on a dock at Possum Kingdom Lake, looking forward to forever on May 23, 2026.
