Maria and Jacob met in the twin cities at the end of high school. After a brief break at the start of college, the couple started dating again January 8th, 2018, and has not looked back. Over 6 years later, Maria and Jacob have covered thousands of miles together. Maria and Jacob attended colleges 400 miles apart and continued to grow their relationship through trust, honesty, and loyalty. They cherished the summers and school breaks which they were able to spend together.

Both Maria and Jacob then transitioned out of college. Maria started a demanding job in the medical field and Jacob pursued a master's degree in Colorado. The couple continued to set aside time for each other and did not let the distance pull them apart. Maria and Jacob enjoy doing several outdoor activities together such as rollerblading, hiking, skiing, running, etc. The couple really enjoys spending time at their cabins, and traveling to different places all over the United States.

Maria and Jacob are a story of faith, resilience, and sacrifice. They never lost sight of their commitment to one another despite living apart for several years. Both have leaned on their faith in good times and bad. No challenge is too large for the two of them and they could not be more thrilled to start their next chapter as a married couple.
