Maria and Nate were both raised in Somerset, PA. From being on the same soccer team as children, to attending the same Catholic church and accompanying each other to a high school dance, their friendship grew over the years. After high school, both yearned to serve their country. Nate attended The United States Military Academy and Maria attended the The United States Naval Academy. While Nate was stationed in Hawaii and Maria in California, they reconnected and began dating. In March of 2025, Nate proposed to Maria and they knew they wanted to return to their roots to get married. After their wedding, Maria and Nate plan on moving to the east coast to begin their married life.
