Mariah and Lane's story is one of friendship turned love, forged over a decade of shared experiences. Their journey began in Hays, Kansas, where they first crossed paths at school. From the start, they were drawn to each other's personalities and found a deep connection that transcended the typical teenage friendships. Throughout their high school and college years, Mariah and Lane remained close friends, supporting each other through life's ups and downs. Although Mariah and Lane went on to attend different colleges in different states, their friendship remained strong. Their shared passion for music served as a powerful bond, connecting them across the miles. They would often exchange new music, playlists, and catch up on life's happenings.&nbsp; While a connection had always been present between them, and feelings had always lingered, the timing had never been right. The demands of college, the distance between them, and the uncertainty of life had kept them from exploring their emotions. But after college, they reconnected during Mariah's&nbsp;birthday and things started to fall into place effortlessly. They decided to take a leap of faith and see if their connection was something stronger than just friendship. Although Lane likes to joke around and say took Mariah 9 years to give him a chance... Their love story is a testament to the power of friendship and the beauty of finding love in unexpected places. Together, Mariah and Lane have built a life filled with love, laughter, trust and two adorable Australian Shepherds. They recently purchased their first home together in Texas, marking a new chapter in their journey together as they become husband and wife.
