HOW WE MET

Our story began in an untraditional way, thanks to the modern magic of online dating! We met each other on Hinge, the app "Designed to be Deleted." It worked!

OUR FIRST DATE

We spent our first date exploring Sheboygan, WI (Mariah's hometown). While walking along Lake Michigan, Jacob tripped & cut his hand. Despite the mishap, we managed to stop at Culver's for ice cream before returning home to administer first aid. Some might say Jacob "fell" for Mariah on their first date!

THE PROPOSAL

Jacob surprised Mariah by taking her back to the spot where they had their first date. Jacob got down on one knee, and of course, Mariah said "yes!". Later that day, we went to church together. During mass, Mariah couldn't stop admiring her new ring. It must have been obvious, because, afterward, a lady sitting behind us asked if we had just gotten engaged. We all had a good laugh.

THE FUTURE

We are filled with excitement and anticipation for what the future holds. We are so grateful and blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends (YOU) as we take this next step together! Thank you for being a part of our journey and celebrating this special time with us.
