Mariah and Josh met online and started texting each other almost nonstop for a couple of weeks. Their conversations were easy and natural, full of jokes, stories, and plenty of late-night messages. They were both excited about getting to know each other, but as the days passed, Mariah started to feel a little nervous about meeting up in person. It was a big step, and she wasn’t sure if she was ready for it. So, she ended up rescheduling their first date, even though she didn’t want to.But Josh was patient and understanding, and after a bit of time, they set a new plan to meet. When they finally did, at a waterfront restaurant in Port Orchard, WA, it was like all the nervousness melted away. As soon as they saw each other, it felt like they had known each other for years. There was no awkwardness, no need to break the ice—it just clicked. It felt easy, comfortable, and real. It was one of those moments where everything just falls into place, and they both knew this was something worth holding on to.

Josh and Mariah love spending time outdoors together. Whether they’re hiking through the woods, kayaking on a calm lake, or just sitting outside to watch the sunset, those moments bring them closer. Being surrounded by nature allows them to unplug and focus on each other, deepening their connection in a way that’s hard to put into words. It’s in those quiet, shared experiences that their bond grows stronger, with each adventure feeling like a new chapter in their journey together.
