On April 13, 2019, I went to Las Vegas for a total of 14 hours to celebrate my childhood friend Kailey's birthday! I taught dance all morning, and then drove straight to Vegas. I had to teach at 3pm the next day, so I knew it was going to be a quick trip! Cody at the time was working at a restaurant called Sake Rok, a dancing sushi restaurant, where he used to work with Kailey!We ate and drank and celebrated Kailey all night at dinner, and one of her server friends made me move my purse so he could sit in the chair next to me to be able to talk with the table (little did I know, this was Cody!) But, alas this is not the meet-cute! We didn't start to chat until a bit later, but we enjoyed celebrating the birthday girl, and he parted ways to dinner to celebrate his roommate's birthday. Kailey and the group tipsy off of a ton of sake bombs danced our way to a club, where Cody and his friend joined us again and were able to get us into this awesome spot on top of the Palms hotel that has a panoramic view of the city! It was beautiful!Now, I danced my heart out. If you know me, you know I go fulllllllll out no matter where I am. I danced all night with my friends, had the time of my life. Now remember, I worked all morning (I had a class of 3 year olds....), I danced my heart out, I am drinking water, and I have to leave early in the morning... I. am. pooped. So, I sit down for a minute... and all of a sudden, Cody comes and sits about as close as you could get and said something to the effect of, "alright why are you the only one of the group sitting here not having any fun?" Mind you, I am EXHAUSTED, and making conversation with someone I don't know does not sound fun. Now I don't remember exactly what he said, how I wish I could! But he said something that sparked my interest, and so I finally turn towards him and pay him some attention... and he's actually pretty cute. So, me being me, first thing I ask him? "What's your greatest fear?"Anyways, I don't want to bore you with our conversation, but he ended up being a totally awesome human that I enjoyed conversing with, so I gave him my number, but doubted I would ever see him again! Flash forward to the next day, I have a four hour drive back to LA and guess who talks to me the whole way home, but the guy from last night -- Cody! And I have spoken to him every day since that one.The next week, he got a promotion and he had the whole week off, so he came to California to take me on a date! And then... I got hired to work in China for a month! Bye bye Cody! Not only did I live in LA and him in Vegas, but now I was gonna be half way across the world.We spoke everyday I was gone, and when I got back he was the first to see me! The rest is history! Ever since that fateful Vegas trip, we have been on countless adventures and cannot wait to share our biggest one yet with you!

Meet Tash, my best friend and partner-in-crime! From the moment we first hung out, it was like we’d known each other forever—how did we not find each other sooner? Tash has been a constant source of laughter, support, and adventure. Whether we were navigating lockdown as the ultimate PP trio with Cody (and now Sam too!) or traveling to new places, her caring nature and incredible talent always shine through. I’m so grateful to have her by my side as we celebrate this special day. Here’s to many more laughs, travels, and unforgettable moments together!

Meet Andrea! Andrea and I became best friends when we both decided to stay on campus during our freshman spring break, and from that moment, we’ve been inseparable! Our bond has only grown stronger over the years, from living together for five amazing years to now being just a mile apart. You truly can't get one of us without the other! Whether she’s making me laugh until my sides ache, sharing in my tears (or laughing at me crying during the last 10 minutes of a show I have no clue about), or being my go-to for pickle consumption and SpongeBob marathons, Andrea has been my rock through it all. She’s the forever best friend who’s been there for every high and every low, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Meet Mikaela! From the moment Mikaela and I met, it was clear we were meant to be adventure buddies! Her enthusiastic “yes” to life, fun, and new experiences has led us on some of the wildest and most memorable escapades together. Not only is she my go-to partner for spontaneous adventures, but she’s also a second mom to Brixton, showering her with love and care. Mikaela embodies kindness and selflessness, and her infectious joy and warmth make everyone she meets feel special. It’s truly an honor to call her my friend, and I’m thrilled to have her with me on this incredible journey.

Maddie, one of Cody’s wonderful sisters, has become such a cherished friend. We can talk for hours about anything and everything, and her caring and gracious nature never ceases to amaze me. She’s the heart and soul of every game night, turning them into unforgettable fun-filled evenings. And let’s not forget her incredible fettuccine—honestly, it’s some of the best I’ve ever had! Having grown up without siblings, I’m especially excited and grateful to soon call Maddie my true sister. I’m thrilled to have her by my side on this special day!

Izzy, Cody’s amazing sister, has been such a joy to get to know. I’m beyond excited to soon have her as my official sister! She’s an incredible athlete and scholar, and her hilarious personality always brings a smile to my face. I absolutely love our shopping trips together—they’re always filled with fun and laughter. I can’t wait to continue making memories with Izzy and to officially be family!
