In 2016, Mariah Williams, a new graduate RN, was living in Utah & navigating her first year as a new nurse. Nearly 700 miles away in California, Cooper Webb was busy chasing his dreams as a professional motocross & supercross racer.
Distance & the demands of pursuing their careers didn’t keep these two from finding each other. They met through mutual friends & spent the next few months getting to know each other over the phone. After just a short while, they knew they were onto something special & had to meet. They decided to plan a trip for Mariah to come to California. After that first date, they were pretty inseparable, making the time to see each other nearly every week, regardless of distance & their busy lives.
It didn’t take long for Cooper to know, this was love, & Mariah felt the same. When Cooper moved to North Carolina in 2017, Mariah took a leap of faith & followed. With a u-haul & her fur baby Cache in-tow, Mariah followed her heart across the country. Time would show that this was the best decision she could have made. She fell in love with North Carolina & Cooper fell even more in love with her, & his now furry best-friend Cache.
Although they loved North Carolina, Cooper’s dreams of becoming a premier class supercross champion once again, called them to relocate. In 2018, Cooper, Mariah, & Cache made the move to the sunshine state of Florida. After 7 months of hard-work & determination, with an entire new team, new training regimen, & completely new surroundings, Cooper was crowned the 2019 450cc AMA supercross champion. Mariah, Cache, & their new addition, Diggs, were by his side the entire time.
Cooper had known for a while now that he had found the love of his life & the partner he could count on through thick & thin. In September of 2019, he got down on one knee, surrounded by the beauty that is Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Canada, & asked Mariah to be his wife. Mariah accepted with zero hesitation, as she also had found her best friend & soul mate in Cooper.
They both look so forward to coming together before God & all of their friends & family to unite as husband & wife on October 29, 2020 in Temecula, CA.
