Marian and Kyle swiped right on Bumble during Christmas of 2021. After a few days of messaging back and forth, Marian told Kyle she'd be in touch with him once she returned from Virginia for the holidays, where she was visiting her family. Kyle agreed to this but did not expect her to reach back out to him after Christmas. Sure enough, Marian texted Kyle after Christmas as they went back and forth trying to select a time to have a first date.

They finally met right after New Years at one of Marian's favorite spots in Savannah, Six Pence Pub (they put up festive Christmas decorations every year)! It was a freezing Saturday night in Savannah and after a drink and a few appetizers they walked to a nearby restaurant where one of Kyle's closest friend's was bartending. Jon made Marian and Kyle their favorite drinks and they chatted as he worked- he greatly helped ease the nerves between the two on the date.

After a successful first date, Marian and Kyle started to make plans every weekend together. They both bonded over a love of being outside, eating and visiting fun new restaurants in Savannah. They quickly fell in love and became inseparable.

After almost a year together, Kyle and Marian adopted Rosie, their beloved dog, who goes wherever they go. She is now the head of the household.

Marian and Kyle enjoy spending time outdoors with their dog Rosie and their family and friends.

Marian, Kyle and Rosie now live together in Beaufort, South Carolina where Kyle serves as a pilot in the United States Marine Corps and Marian is in her tenth year of teaching at Coosa Elementary school.
