Mariana and Luis's journey began in 2018 at Northside Hospital, where they worked side by side in the Radiology department and became friends.

Their friendship blossomed as they bonded over a shared passion for running, hiking, and embarking on thrilling adventures. Beyond their shared interests, they discovered a mutual ambition for careers in the medical field. This dream led Mariana to pursue a Physician Associate graduate program, while Luis dedicated himself to Radiology technology studies.

Through the challenges of their academic paths, they stood as each other's strongest supporters. Luis frequently traveled out of state to visit Mariana during clinical year of medical rotations, ensuring their bond remained steadfast. After their graduations, they welcomed a new chapter into their lives with the arrival of Zeus, their cherished fur baby.

In August 2024, Mariana and Luis marked another milestone in their story by purchasing their first home together—a place where their shared dreams could take root. As they prepare to walk down the aisle and commit to one another as husband and wife, their journey continues to be a testament to love, partnership, and the adventures yet to come.
