Our Story
THE BEGINNING
Jollibee is my comfort food since I was a kid, so whenever and wherever I go, I would always go to and buy something to eat. I tried in New Jersey, Philippines and my favorite will be in Kuwait --- where I found my love who changed my life and taught me the real definition of unconditional love.
January 2019 ---- I can still remember the day when I met you. Me and my friend went to Jollibee Fahaheel, Kuwait to have our lunch together. That was the day you approached us for a quick survey in exchange of an ice cream sundae, haha. Never would I have thought that you will use this trick to get my contact number.
This is the place where me and my friend sat and had our first conversation.
At first, you didn't know who is who in the survey since you gave us 2 papers. So, you confirmed by sending us private messages in 2 separate numbers haha.
We had little conversation that time but it didn't work out well because of personal issues. We lost contact for 2 years.
September 2021 ---- Me and my friend went out for errands early morning but we became hungry so we went to grab a bite in Jollibee Marina Mall, Kuwait. In surprise, I saw those little eyes looking in the counter from the kitchen area, specifically in the warmer. So you came out in the counter and approached me like we are very close, haha. We talked for a while and we exchanged numbers.
We continued talking for a year, almost. We were going outside for movies, pigging out and roaming around Kuwait, haha.
September 21, 2021 -- This is our first picture together.
January 2022 --- you went for vacation.
February 2022 -- I went also for vacation. We didn't know that we will be having almost- same months for our vacations. We met in the Philippines.
You came into our house. I also introduced you to my family. Almost every weekend you're going back and forth from Laguna to Baclaran, which it takes 2 hrs travel. I saw the effort you were doing that time and I appreciated it.
February 21, 2022 -- You brought these when we first met in Baclaran.
March 8, 2022 -- This is our first photo together with my family.
March 18, 2022 -- when we are outside having coffee in Starbucks, Blue Bay, you asked me if you can be my boyfriend while giving me a promise ring. In grateful, I said yes.
This is our first photo together as an official couple.
Fast forward to July 2025
-- We were outside to have my birthday dinner with my friends. You gave us a surprise by plotting with the staffs of the restaurant to give a small birthday treat at the end of our meal. Never I would imagined that my birthday celebration would be also my engagement celebration.
When we were taking pictures, suddenly you knelt and showed me the engagement ring while asking me to marry you. I didn't know what to feel that time but I just hugged you and said Yes.
& the rest was history.
