Marianne and J met on Monday night in May of 2019 while at the infamous Running For Brews in Royal Oak Michigan. Oddly enough, J was close enough to Marianne for them to actually meet ON the run. They once again connected at a local 5K later that week. At the time, Marianne was living in Chicago where she was attending podiatry school. J happened to be in Chicago that next week for work. Thinking he was really into running, Marianne asked him if he wanted to go on a run with her. While J pleasantly declined (it was raining, but he didn’t want to run anyway), he did ask if she wanted to grab a drink later that evening. After deciding long distance is always a great idea, they began dating, and six years later here we are celebrating our marriage!
