Is there a dress code?
Our wedding dress code is formal attire. We suggest men wear a darker suit with a bowtie or tie and for women a floor-length gown or knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates.
When should I book my hotel room?
We recommend booking your hotel room sooner rather than later to take advantage of the discounted rates. The cut-off date for the discounted rates is Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The hotel information can be found under the "Travel" tab.
When should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 PM. Please plan to arrive around 1:00 PM to allow time to get seated.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
While we do love your children, we ask that you do not bring them to the reception unless told specifically otherwise. We want everyone to have a fun night out with us! However, kids are more than welcome to come to the church ceremony at 1:30 PM.
Can I bring a date?
In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited. Your invitation will specify if you received a plus one and they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Where do I park for the ceremony?
If you are driving, there are plenty of parking spaces in the church parking lot on both sides of the church. There is also additional parking in a lot across the street. You can enter the church through the main entrance doors at the front of the building.
Where do I park for the reception?
If you are staying in the BLU-tique hotel, you have the option of walking just down the street to the reception. If you are driving, there is free parking at the Summit County Parking Deck at 200 S High St, Akron, OH 44308.
When do I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 5, 2025.
