Sometimes it pays to give a long-time acquaintance a second look.

While we both attended Andrews University as undergraduates, and have maintained many mutual friends over the years, it wasn't until Marianne was asked to become the faculty sponsor for the university's student theater club that we had a chance to meet directly.

We had our first lunch together on January 21, 2021. After our initial 2.5 hour conversation, we stayed in touch, and haven't stopped talking with each other since!
