Josh's Version...We met at a wedding. I saw her from across the room and went to sit down next to her. The first thing I said to her was, "Have you ever been to a Jewish wedding?" As luck would have it, we sat at the same table during the reception. I asked her to dance but there were no good opportunities. At the end of the night, I saw her dancing and took my shot. My dancing skills wooed her, and the rest is history.

Maribel's Version...I went to a wedding with a friend who was a groomsman, so I sat by myself at the ceremony. A man, later identified as Josh, sat next to me and struck up a conversation. Later in the evening, I saw Josh walking towards my direction with a big smile as he sat down next to me. We talked through dinner, and he asked me to dance a couple times. Towards the end, I was dancing with my friend, when he came over and stole the show. Eight years later, we haven’t stopped dancing.
