Our Wedding

Like many modern day fairy tales, we met on a dating app. On the surface we saw that we had similar interests, but we had lived very different lives. As we got to know each other, it became clear that our similarities lied in what matters most - our morals, values, and character. For our wedding we hope to create an environment that not only celebrates our love, but to also celebrate the loved ones who have played a role in shaping us to be the people we are today. Whether those roles were big or small, direct or indirect we wouldn't be here without you; and there's no where else we'd rather be. We are so excited to celebrate our big day with you.

For family and friends flying in for the wedding, we recommend flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, renting a car, and then driving North on I-5 to Bellingham.

Seattle–Tacoma International Airport

For those who prefer to fly directly into Bellingham, this is for you. The airport is much smaller than Sea-Tac, so they don't have as many options for flights but the direct flight into Bellingham may be appealing to those who don't want to drive from Seattle to Bellingham.

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Oxford Suites in Bellingham, WA. When calling to make your reservation, please mention the Sefe-Rigby wedding in order to receive a discounted rate. Please call ‭(360) 676-1400‬ to make your reservation. Be sure to book your hotel room by August 4, 2025 in order to receive the discount.

Hotel Bellwether unfortunately doesn't offer blocks or discounts for events held outside of their property, but this hotel is just too beautiful to not list as an option. You'll have to book as an independent guest.

Travel

Going on a drive on Chuckanut Drive is a must for those visiting Bellingham. Start in Fairhaven and follow Chuckanut Drive south. We encourage you to pull over to enjoy the views. If you're up for a little adventure, go for a hike!

Taylor Shellfish Farms

Enjoy more than three miles of trails in Whatcom Fall Park. Stroll through the forests, discover open meadows, and take in the falls. Connect to Bloedel Donovan Park, the Railroad Trail, or do a one-mile loop in the park by beginning in the Silver Beach Road parking area (near the stone bridge at the main falls).

This is one of our favorite parks in all of Bellingham. The long paved trails along and on the water provides incredible views of Bellingham Bay. This is a great place to bring children as well because of the little beach and the playground.
