In May of 2022 our love story began.

What had started as just coworkers laughing and joking on the clock, soon turned to genuine friendship. It wasn't long before a relationship started to form. Knowing we both were interested in each other we decided to have our first date May 18th. We saw the very romantic Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. Even though MariCruz knew nothing about marvel, Nate spent the whole movie explaining who people were and why they were in the movie. He thought for sure this had scared her off, I mean it was definitely a nerdy movie for a first date. However, it did the opposite as he explained the movie she smiled the whole time. Despite all the feelings being there, our first kiss didn't happen until the next day May 19th since we were both nervous and shy. From there it was very apparent how we felt about each other and every minute we spent together just solidified that feeling. "I love You's" were exchanged before we even started dating. Which may seem fast to most but to us, it was just all the pieces falling into place like God had planned. On June 2nd we made our relationship official. Nate knew that MariCruz was the one right away. In December 2022, for there 6th month mark. Nate gave MariCruz a promise ring. He knew this relationship was it, and MariCruz knew the same as she accepted it and in August 2023 presented Nate with a promise ring of his own. In November of that same year, even though she basically lived there already, we made it official and MariCruz moved in! With many birthdays, holidays, family events, and so much more between us, Nate knew it was time for the next big step. He began looking at rings. In November, Nate got the blessing of MariCruz's parents and siblings as he knew this was very important to her. Nate began plotting with her sisters to set up the big day. On December 2nd, 2024, Nate got down on one knee and asked the big question and of course, MariCruz said YES! With this we began planning our wedding, and we look forwards to everyone joining us for our big day and being a part of our love story!
