Our Wedding

Tyler and Marie met when Tyler became the Band Director at Mount Union. Marie was the Assistant Director so they were together right off the bat.After spending some time together, Tyler invited Marie to ride to State College with him to switch his car out with the promise of a little treat from Dunkin' Donuts.They used to spend the bus rides home from football games chatting and Tyler learned that Marie had never been to the Waffle Shop before so they planned a trip there as their official "first date". On the way home, Tyler nervously told Marie that he liked her. She responded to him with "let's circle back to that". At that point the ball was in her court. Was that the end? Obviously not.Things only progressed from there.They spent the next year and a half spending so much time together: going on trips, walks around the neighborhood, weekend trips to Altoona or State College for Chipotle or Panda Express. They were pretty much inseparable at this point.During a trip to Hoboken, New Jersey to show Tyler around Marie's college town in May of 2025, Tyler developed an elaborate plan and asked her to spend the rest of his life with her. She of course said YES.And the rest is history.They can't wait to spend their big day with you!

Abby and Marie have been best friends for the last 20+ years. Even though Abby moved halfway across the country, we couldn't imagine the day without her.

Ashley is one of Tyler's closest friends from Slippery Rock University where they were both music ed majors.

Erica and Marie have been friends since middle school and spent three years as roommates. They may not live together anymore, but our day would be incomplete without her.

Shane is one of Tyler's closest friends from Huntingdon. He is always willing to lend a hand with whatever you ask of him.

Marie and Jennie met playing the clarinet at Stevens and then joined the same sorority. Although they now live in different states, they meet up about 4 times a year to catch up and this big day should be no different!

Jennie Collins

Nathan is one of Tyler's closest friends from Slippery Rock. They played in many different ensembles together.

Marie "grew up in Liz's alley". They went from being friends who were like sisters growing up together to being actual sisters when they both joined the same sorority at Stevens. Our big day would not be the same without her!

Tyler is Tyler's closest band director friend from time spent in Darkhorse Percussion together.

Rachel and Marie met at Stevens when they both joined Theta Phi and have been friends ever since. Whether bonding over Taylor Swift and Harry Styles or baseball, Rachel and Marie have always been close and our day would be missing something without her!

Mike is a close friend of Tyler's from Slippery Rock. They spent a lot of time together in the saxophone studio.

Mike McGarrigle

Gracen and Marie have been friends since their days in majorettes in high school. Gracen is always down for anything and the fun of this day would not be the same without her!

Austin is another close friend from Slippery Rock, a former roommate, and a fellow music education major.

Caitlin and Marie have been friends since Caitlin moved to Mount Union in eighth grade. Whether it be a hike or a trip to Memories, Caitlin is always down and we couldn't imagine this day without her!
