The best would be to rent an Airbnb or Vrbo house in the areas of Tahoe City (proximity to the lake), Alpine Meadows (location of wedding venue) or Olympic Valley/Palisades (nearby valley to Alpine Meadows).

River Ranch is at the entrance of Alpine Meadows Valley. It is located directly on the Truckee river. It is known for being the end point of the rafting from Tahoe City. Great outdoor terrasse!
It is about 4 mins drive to the wedding venue and 10 mins to the lake.

In Tahoe City, walking distance to the lake. 15 mins to the wedding venue.
